Wedding Photography
I usually don’t recommend that you put a member of your family in charge of your wedding photos.
First, that friend or family member is there as your invited guest – to see you getting married, not to work. If you want great photos and if you want your wedding day photography to go off without any problems let us take care of hiring a professional wedding photographer for you.
We use only professional wedding photographers, who are reliable and familiar with local venues and climate. We will manage the entire event so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
Timing Is Everything
It’s an old cliche, but true. “Timing is everything.” Since most weddings are held during the sunset hour, our timing and the final time-line is critical; you have at most 50 minutes from start to finish. Not 60 minutes, not 90 minutes. Keep in mind, if we miss this rather small window of time for light, your photos may not turn out as you want.
Coordination and Planning
My staff and I are hired to be there to work and make sure your special event goes off without a worry. The more we do the less you have to worry about. It’s your wedding day. Let us take care of the details, the coordination, and everything else that needs attention-to-detail. Our fee is very reasonable compared to virtually any other similarly offered services in Miami Beach.
A Few More Planning Tips
Please, consider creating a budget.
It’s not a restriction, it’s an allowance; it will allow you to see and have what’s important to you for YOUR wedding.
Your wedding ceremony is a special and sacred event. Please, ask your guests not to take pictures during your wedding ceremony. Besides, I’m sure that you would prefer seeing your guests faces and expressions as you exchange your wedding vows instead of cameras covering their faces.
Brides & Grooms
Are your teeth recently whitened? This sounds like a silly question, but it’s a very important one to ask – and answer. Especially if you are wearing white. Nothing ruins a beautiful photograph of a perfectly dazzling bride in an incredible white wedding dress wearing a smile – who looks like she has no teeth!
What Should We Wear
Couples always ask me: “What should I wear?”
For a beach wedding, cool, comfortable, light colors, light natural fabrics that move with the breeze. And on your feet – a great pedicure; it doesn’t have to be fancy, just clean and polished (plus, who doesn’t love getting a great pedicure!)
Remember, walking on the beach other than in your bare feet is awkward and a bit difficult. If it’s a beach wedding – footwear is always optional!
Wedding Cake (on the beach)
I do not recommend serving wedding cake on the beach. While it may seem fun and something that you’d like to do after your ceremony, the seagulls on the beach quickly can ruin your wedding. Instead, I suggest having the wedding cake delivered to the restaurant reserved your reception/dinner. You can have the traditional cake cutting early, then later the plated cake can be served for dessert.
Sunset Weddings
Sunset weddings on Miami Beach are exceptionally glorious. True, it’s a bit hot during the day (summers), but it cools down at sunset – and the colors are extraordinary, especially as reflected on the skin, creating an unmatched peach blush and “golden” appearance. There’s nothing like it!
